What we collect

From a brief: name, email, chosen sitting, optional page count, and the chapter premise you write. From a sitting: notes needed to draw the pages, and invoice details. We do not ask for wallet keys, identity documents, or payment-card numbers through this site. This site’s enquiry form posts only to a static mock endpoint for demonstration; treat live briefs as email until we confirm a private channel.

Why we use it

To answer a brief, schedule a folio sitting, draw the chapter you asked for, send proofs, and keep accounts. The lawful bases are contract (for a paid sitting) and legitimate interests (to reply to an enquiry and to keep a short record of original work we drew).

Retention

Unsuccessful briefs are deleted within twelve months. Invoices and chapter files for paid work are kept for six years to meet accounting needs. Process photos used with permission may remain in the folio archive until you ask us to stop.

Sharing

We share what a binder or printer needs to finish a folio you ordered. We do not sell mailing lists. If a future host or email provider sits outside the UK, we will use an appropriate transfer tool such as the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses.

International transfers

If you write to us from outside the UK, your message travels to Bagendon. Any transfer from us to a processor outside the UK will be documented and limited to what the sitting requires.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, a correction, erasure, restriction, or objection, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Where we rely on consent for a non-essential cookie, you may withdraw it without affecting the chapter work.
