Terms
These terms govern sittings and original mystic-arts artbook work with Codevault Base. They are not a licence to official Marvel characters or issues.
Acceptance
By sending a chapter brief or paying a deposit you accept these terms. If a term cannot apply to a folio review sitting (for example, leaf failure), it is simply unused. We may refuse a brief that asks us to copy a published Marvel page or to draw an official likeness.
The work
We supply original sequential art, plates, lettering dummies, bound folios, and, where agreed, a title-spread file for you to issue as a numbered NFT. We do not sell licensed comics, wallets, marketplace memberships, or merchandise manufacturing.
Intellectual property
Until the final invoice is paid, Codevault Base retains copyright in the drawings, lettering, and dummy. On payment, you receive a licence to display, bind, and — if agreed in the quote — issue a numbered token of the title spread. You may not treat the chapter as an official Marvel publication. We may show process photos of original pages in the folio room unless you ask otherwise in writing before layouts.
Your materials
You warrant that reference you send is yours to use and is not a scan of a copyrighted issue for us to reproduce. If a rights holder contacts us about a brief, we pause the sitting until you resolve it.
Liability
We draw on paper and screens in Bagendon. We are not liable for marketplace fees, lost tokens, or listings written by third parties. Our liability for a sitting is limited to the fees you paid for that sitting, except where the law of England and Wales does not allow that limit. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. The studio address for notices is 36 Wood Lane,Bagendon,GL7 8EZ,United Kingdom.
