Refunds
These rules apply to original mystic-arts artbook sittings. They do not cover licensed Marvel products, merchandise we do not sell, or marketplace token fees you pay elsewhere.
Eligibility
A refund is possible when we have not started thumbnails, when we cancel a sitting, or when a folio review cannot go ahead because the studio is closed. Once inks are approved, the drawing itself is not returned as cash because it cannot be unsold to another patron.
Timeframe
Ask within fourteen days of a deposit if thumbnails have not begun. For a folio sitting, cancel at least forty-eight hours before the Wood Lane appointment for a full sitting fee refund.
Full or partial
Full refund of a deposit if we have not begun thumbnails, or if we cancel. Partial refund after layouts: we keep the first third for time already on the table and return later instalments not yet earned. After the ink pass, remaining fees for unfinished colour or binding may be returned; layout and ink fees stay with the studio.
Non-refundable
Gold leaf already laid on a title plate, paper purchased for your folio, and courier costs already paid. Numbered NFT mint fees you paid to a marketplace. A sitting missed without notice (a no-show at Wood Lane) is not refunded.
How to ask
Write to hello@codevaultbase.world or telephone 07749707053 with the chapter title and the date of the brief. We confirm in writing what can be returned.
Process and timing
Approved refunds travel by the same bank transfer or card route as the original payment within ten working days of our written agreement. We do not refund onto a marketplace wallet.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may move a folio review sitting once without fee if you give forty-eight hours’ notice. A second move may take a new sitting fee if the dummy must be reprinted. We may reschedule if leaf tests fail or if a binder cannot attend; your fees then wait with the new date.
Deposits
Chapter deposits are one-third of the quote. They secure the table. They are not a product pre-order. If you stop the chapter after layouts, the deposit stays as payment for that pass.
Work already started
Pencils, inks, and lettering already made remain with Codevault Base unless the quote said otherwise. You do not receive unused pages as a consolation folio.
Materials
Stock bought for your gold-leaf plate is charged if it cannot be used on another chapter. We will say so before we order unusual sheets.
Exceptions
If drawings arrive damaged in a GB posting we arranged, we reprint that signature or refund the bind portion. Statutory rights under UK consumer law are not displaced where they apply to you as a consumer.
