Scope of a chapter
Cover plate, title spread, six to fourteen sequential pages, lettering layout, and a printed colophon naming the chapter, the earth-variant framing, and the edition size.
Included
Pencil layouts, inked pages, flat colour or limited palette as agreed, two revision rounds on layouts, one revision round on inks, print-ready files, and a hand-bound folio of the chapter.
Not included
Licensed Marvel characters drawn as official likenesses, full-run monthly series, animation, or merchandise manufacturing.
Who draws it
Drawn and lettered in the Bagendon folio room by the Codevault Base studio, with a named lead illustrator for each chapter.
How the chapter moves
Brief and reference sitting, thumbnail pass, tight layouts, inks, colour, lettering dummy, folio bind, optional NFT mint of the title spread through your chosen marketplace account.
Time on the table
Ten to fourteen weeks for an eight-page chapter; sixteen to twenty weeks for sixteen pages, depending on splash density and gold-leaf plates.
Where the work happens
Work is drawn at 36 Wood Lane, Bagendon. Progress proofs are sent as PDFs. The bound folio is collected in person or posted within Great Britain.
What to bring
Bring a chapter premise (earth-variant, antagonist, relic, or moral hinge), any existing character notes, and a preferred palette. Do not send copyrighted Marvel page scans to copy.
Limits we keep
We produce original sequences in the Doctor Strange mystic-arts comic tradition. We do not reproduce published Marvel issues or sell official licensed comics.
How we price it
From £4,800 for an eight-page chapter without gold leaf. Sixteen-page chapters and NFT editions are quoted after the layout pass.
